i asked myself what that sick wheelset could be... here is the answer:

"The wheels started off life as 16h NOS Shamal hoops. I hand sanded the ano. off (not recommended!), then had them mirror-polished before sending them out to be dipped black (anodized). Custom drilled and slotted hi-flange black Phils, laced with black Sapim CX spokes (their widest bladed)."
